From the rolling landscapes of Kentucky to the iconic distilleries that define its character, the vision is simple: create an experience that inspires pilots, engages communities, and opens doors for the next generation.

Whether you are a beginning pilot or a seasoned aviator, there is a place for you in experiencing The Spirit of Kentucky firsthand.
The Course
The Spirit of Kentucky Air Race features two course options that provide a safe and affordable outlet for the competitive instincts of all pilots, regardless of what aircraft they fly.
Aircraft Classes
Aircraft categories accommodate both experimental planes looking to push the limits of homebound engineering, as well as factory aircraft from popular and familiar manufacturers.
Rules & Regulations
The Sport Air Racing League has always been big on fun and small on hassle. Their rules and regulations will keep you safe and informed as you compete with a variety of aviators and aircraft.

Ready to take to the skies? Reserve your spot on our race lineup and prepare for a unique testing of your piloting skills and aircraft performance. Admission to our SOKY Gala is included!
